Brian’s Suitcase: A New Outcome of Our Digital Art Project

Brian Mackern’s residency in Liverpool for our AHRC-funded project Latin(o) American Digital Arts keeps having unexpected and amazing outcomes.

Brian’s new version of his Santa Rosa Storm, as presented at FACT during his residency here in Liverpool last October, has now gone on its travels to other venues and events.

After a concert in Mexico and Montevideo, Brian has now produced a striking installation using a suitcase, candles, a mini statue of the Santa Rosa Saint and some stamps.

The suitcase has already been travelling for more than sixteen countries.

Will it ever come back to Liverpool? We hope so!

In the meantime, follow us on Twitter via @latamcyber to see exclusive images of this new artwork and its travels.  We’ll be tweeting these from 13 May 2015 onwards.
