We’re delighted to announce that Claire’s Latin American Digital Art project will be participating in the series of events held in Liverpool as part of the Being Human Festival. Being Human is the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, and is now in its second year.
A series of events are taking place in Liverpool, including the Latin American Digital Art project, which will be exhibiting in the Gallery Space, Ground Floor, 19 Abercromby Square.
The project will exhibit This Too Shall Pass// Affective Cartographies, the multimedia art work developed by Brian Mackern during his residency in Liverpool in 2014. In this piece, Brian addresses the representation of places and the different aspects of the localization of ‘being’.
For Being Human, the public is encouraged to play around on the artwork, and also to feedback their own thoughts about ‘being human’ on the artwork postcards that accompany the exhibition, which can be posted into our low-tech post box.
Claire will hold a tour and Q&A of the art work on Wednesday 4 November at 4.00pm.
The opening times for the exhibition are from the 4th November – 18th December.
