2008 AoIR panel – Copenhagen


On 16 October 2008 members of the group presented papers at the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) annual conference, IR 9.0, Rethinking Community, Rethinking Place, held in Copenhagen. The panel on Latin American Cyberculture, proposed by the group, brought together Thea Pitman‘s paper on ‘Tricontinentalism in Cyberspace’, Tori Holmes’s paper ‘Between Projects and Everyday Practices: Local Content and “Digital Inclusion” in Brazil’ and finally Claire Taylor‘s paper ‘Re-Working the Lettered City: NGO Websites in Colombia’.
