Digital Art in Buenos Aires

Claire, Jordana and Marina at the workshop

Claire, Jordana and Marina at the workshop

Our workshop with the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires earlier this month has generated quite a lot of interest, both at the event itself, and since then via social media. We were pleased to be invited to present at the Escuela de Defensa Nacional, a venue which has only recently started on a programme of artistic and cultural events.

As well as discussions at the workshop itself, over the next couple of months, we’ll be hearing back from participants at the workshop, as they respond to our questionnaire and share their thoughts with us. We’ve also invited all the participants to take part in the Twitter Galleries that we ran back in March and April of this year, and vote for their favourite image of Brian Mackern’s This Too Shall Pass. We’ll be announcing the winning image at the end of August.

For those of you who couldn’t make the workshop –  or who did go, but want to catch up on any of the details –  you can view the video of the workshop, compiled by one of the participants, at: http://bit.ly/1GHFtoO

There are also plenty of photos that were taken by members of the Posgrado en Lenguajes Artísticos Combinados that can be viewed at: http://on.fb.me/1LoWzwb

Our thanks go to Marina Zerbarini, the Escuela de Defensa Nacional, and everyone involved in the Postgrado en LAC for all their hard work in organizing the event. ¡Muchísimas gracias!
